Midnight (1939)
Despite certain complications such as Claudette Colbert's penchant for only being filmed from her left side, Mary Astor being well into her pregnancy, and John Barrymore's obvious cue card reading, Midnight is delightful little screwball that also features Don Ameche, Monty Woolley, Hedda Hopper, and Barrymore's last wife, Elaine Barrie who was brought on to keep Barrymore somewhat sober and coherent. The very best scene in the entire film starts at minute 3:40. Enjoy!
Tonight on TCM!
Enjoy some Lon Chaney!!
